From what I under stand. you can use a MBC on any GIAC chip. A MBC will let you make more boost (about 3lbs past requesteduntil limp) there is a more aggressive boost ramp and in some cases as 2k has said is used to control the over shoot of boost.

contact VAST they are very helpful in this case as they were the first ones to put a MBC on the 2.7T

don't feel that you have to reinvent the wheel. All the enthusiasm you have is great. But there are several people here that have already tested and proven things that work and don't work. There are several things that you can do to the car. This forum is a great place to find out witch parts are needed and witch ones area waste of money. Read and post the people responded in a way that was meant to tell you. 2 boost controllers are a recipe for disaster.
