How do you know how much HP you have, if the car hasn't been on the dyno?

Yes, we have an N75 valve. I think we all know about it.
However, people do add MBC in parallel with the N75. I have even seen a 2 stage MBC hooked up.
It will not help with boost taper at all, just smooth out boost spikes, usually only on K04 cars.

But your MBC money into finding out where that boost leak is. There should be no turbo lag on your car unless the FMIC is to big, & you have to big/length of piping.

i agree with 2ks4 100% cause the turbo leak no matter how small it is ..is no good at all what so ever..sooner or later it will be a blown turbo...!! get that fixed first...

how do i add the MBC in parallel to the N75? i'm a visual person it will be very helpful if some one can post a picture of how the vac hose should be connected the MBC parallel to the N75 valve.

yea i found that pic but im still confused about the connection.
Do i make a tee connector from the original boost pressure vaccum hose from the turboand connect to the MBC and the N75? and then also make a t-connector to connect the N75 and MBC and to the boost pressure vaccum hose to the wastegate?

Why are you adding a MBC? You know it will NOT allow more boost? It just there to help boost surging, & usually only on K04 cars.

the reason im adding the MBC its because when i go into GIAC chip mode, it boost spikes at around 24psi! maybe my leaky valve cover gasket causes that? but im changing the gasket very soon.

 

You need to log block 115 & see what the requested vs actual is. My guess is the car is not requesting that much, unless you have the K04 race file. My bet is on a bad/going N75 & maybe a leaking wastegate accuator.

 

will I get a check engine light with a bad N75 valve? should i just replace the bad N75 with a MBC?
