Default Boost Leak/ Guage

so i recently changed my tbb to the samco one and everything seems ok. I have the giac x ecu chip and i dont know if i have a boost leak or not. When i drive the car it seems to have a significant amount of a increase in power (not like OMG thats crazy), i dont know if im expecting the chip to add too much power? or my car is fine and i should call it a day?

Also im ordering the awe vent boost guage and i was wondering how easy is the install for one of these?

all suggestions are appreciated.

y would you think you have a boost leak? just find a vacuum line that you can easily tee into or find a not used vacuum port on the manifold. that should give you manifold vacuum at idle and then when enough throttle is applied youll get your boost reading. you can get a professional audi set up for a boost gauge like through apr or awe or just go to autozone and get a faze boost/vacuum gauge or something thats fairly cheap.. probably around 40.00. try and run some of the line to a vacuum tee thats proper size. then find away to get the line into the cabin compartment. set up your cheap gauge somewhere on the dash or under where you can see readings. you may have a positive and negative hook up for lights. then if youve installed correctly and there are no other vacuum/boost leaks itll work perfect. id think with OBD II that a boost or vacuum leak would show up and provide a code. when car is warm at idle no loads you should have about 19 to 20 inches of mercury, then at full boost i think stock audi S4 is like 10.5 psi, and i guess with the ecu upgrade youll have to get the specs from them, probably more like 15 to 16 psi of boost...

im not 100% sure but i hope its at least that.. a stock t6 s80 volvo is 12 psi.. id hope audis s4 would be at least that.. i thought that id read somewhere in this forum that is was that .. so how much boost does an APR tune give you? that is the one that im going with since it can be done at the audi dealership..
