Can I replace the Angle Sensor 2 for Throttle Actuator sensor only?? PLEASE HELP!!!!
I found that I have bad throttle position sensor. Vag-Comreport says"Angle Sensor 2 for Throttle Actuator (G188) Implausible Signal". I was told that the entire throttle body must be replaced. I'm hoping this isn't true. Does anybody know about this sensor or have had this problem before?By the way, I now have a check engine, epc, antislip and abs light on all at the same time. PLEASE HELP before I have to risk buying this $900 part without guaranteeing it will fix the problem. Thanks.

You should be able to replace just the sensor, but im not sure of that though.
As for the abs and epc light those aren't related, more than likely a bad brake light switch or a faulty abs control unit.

I guess we are just guessing right now. I was told that you should test the voltage on the connections before actually replacing the throttle body. I'll post the results later.

The EPC and ABS systems are connected to the throttle body. If your ABS wheel speed sensors see excess wheels spin the EPC system will cut the throttle to curb slipping. So your EPC, ABS and Throttle body are connected but that doesn't mean the issues are created by the same thing. It could just be a bad TPS or it may be a bad TPS as well as a bad ABS module, break switch or a wheel speed sensor.I have found used throttle body's for $100.00 on www.car-part.com do a search on that site you will be able to find one for sure. They also guarantee that they work or your money back.
