car is over reving need help.
So i just had the RS4 clutch put in, new slave and master as well. I got the car back and ever since it has been over reving when i let off the gas. It is not so bad under like 4k more like a stall at the rpm i **** at. above 4 it over revs about 200rpm. What the hell is going on?
when i let off the gas to shift (foot off the gas) the RPM continues to increase (over rev). I dont know if that is the proper term (over rev) sorry.
Who put it in, it sounds like the clutch is not engaging! Does it stop revving orgo down after a second or two or does it just go to 4k and stay there? Also is it hard to get in gear? They may have not bleed the two cylinders correctly.
I goes into gear fine. Maybe a little push is needed but nothing that is alarming to me. I had a guy at audi do it for me on the side. it over revs a second or two and then drops normaly. I talked to the guy and im bringing it back monday morning.
It just seems crazy that a citrified audi tec would do it wrong.

I agree with ops, it sounds like you have some air in the line between the master and slave cylinders. Sounds like it's taking a second or two for the slave cylinder to move the pressure plate.
