remove the cat O2 sensor and tie it up out of the way ( this stops the first sensor detecting the other sensor and the loss of the cat ( you could also use a spark plug anti Fowler ) and the CEL should come on but if it does there are ways to disable it ( information for off road only )

 

i just finished gutting the precats and welding in a test pipe for the secondary cats, cant wait to get them installed again!

 

does anyone know generally how loud it would be.... i mean my brother has a ful 3in turboback on his gti with just a muffler its hella loud and shoots flame but how bout
a b5 s4 how loud do you think that would be?

 

Hmmm.... well think of this.... hes got a 4 cyl 1.8 and your gonna be doing the same thing with a 2.7 v6 . Pretty much gonna be CHAOS loud, and a bit deeper tone than the GTI.

 

I have to get this done immediately, the people of Irvine are going to fall over when i shoot flames at there pretty Mercedes at a stop light. hahahaha

 

ok man seriously now someone needs to do this and then post a sound clip.......cause choosing an exhaust is hard
and if this sounds good with no drone and not intrusive...who knows people might start doing this

Yea deffinatley a good idea.... im almost thinking of just running electric exhaust dumps right behind front tires... but still have some type of real exhaust running back for a normal dirivng....."old muscle car style"
