Default Center mount intercooler kit

Is there a center mount intercooler kit, for 2000's S4. I saw one some where and forgot, it is for $2200. Also is it really worth the price. Thanks

The maker of the intercooler is called DUH Engineering. You can order it directly from their site I believe, otherwise go to www.achtuning.com It is on backorder there right now. Now, the intercooler is kind of a japanese design, which the audi has nothing in common with. However, it is highly effective over stock, RS4 or even other aftermarket side intercoolers (such as AWE). Now what you have to realize is that there is a certain point where cooling reaches its optimum level, and from there you can't really do any better. So with an aftermarket side intercooler kit, you might reach that optimum level, especially with stock or only a KO4 upgrade. If you were to go all out and you were pushing over 500 hp, then maybe the front mount would be more useful. But in my opinion, a freaking front mount looks incredibly badass!

I agree with most of Skuy4's comments. More importantly, you should realize the huge amount of modification this would require - lots of cutting. I don't know if it's worth the gains you will get - especially if everything else is relatively stock. I like the side kits - they do the job effectively.
