Default ceramic brakes

I had my brakes replaced a little while back when I first got the car. The shop recommended that I put in ceramic brakes along with rotors required for ceramic brakes.

Anyway, I want to change my own brakes this time and was curious if any ceramic brake will work? Are there specific characteristics I need to look into before purchasing ceramic brakes at, let's say, ecstuning.com ?

just get slotted rotors, some aggressive pads and stainless steel lines. The difference is night and day. its also a very easy do it your self mod.

Are you talking about just ceramic pads or carbon ceramic rotors also? like the brakes found in high end exotics?

you'll still need to get the rotors cut. The local napa or what not should do it for like 15 a rotor.

almost forgot dont get ceramics if you dont plan on getting slotted and or drilled rotors. You'll be warping rotors in no time with the ceramics bc they operate at a higher heat

well the thing is when i got my brakes done last, they changed to ceramic pads and to whatever rotors the guy says are required for ceramic pads.

my rotors do not have holes or cuts right now...
