not much out- APR & REVO both make chips available but with minimal gains (@ 12hp) for the $700 price tag! Supposely PES-tuning has made their own pushing out 26hp but i dunno... GIAC is releasin soon i think-

Thats why I dont like the fact that Audi went with a V8 rather than retaining the Biturbo. It is hard to squeeze large amounts of power out of ANY normally Aspirated(Non-Turbo) vehicle.

Have either of these chips been known to cause any damage or anything like that??

$700 isnt terrible for such an easy upgrade, IMO. More power would definately be nice though.

I don't see any chip causing damage. The problems you hear about with chips "causing damage" is on the B5 with the turbos going out. This is because of the increased stress of more boost on the turbos, which is how they make so much more power. The V8 wont get the same gains, but I've never heard of any bad effects either.

that happens to any turbo that you increase the boost over the stock level... lol wow

the more boost you make the more stress you put and the shorter the life of the turbo
