First of all, its not just apr chips that blow turbos anything that increases boost over stock levels will eventually blow turbos, Second Ive had my car chipped since 25k miles im going on 45 so reliabiality isnt quite an issue i dont think. Proper maintence and proper cool down time is necessary. If youre going to chip, get a turbo timer and you will be good to go

 

proper warming up and cooling down of any turbocharged car is neccessary. not just a chipped s4. even a stock s4 should have the proper cool down
