hi all. i'm looking to buy a 2001.5-2002 s4. i have a few in my sights and have test driven them. i am in the d.c. area.

i currently own a 2005 e500 4matic, a 2002 acura rsx-s w/a few upgrades (hondata chip, header, exhaust, cai), a '76 ferrari dino gt-4 and a '69 mustang convertible w/a 351 windsor in it.

for some reason the car felt fast, but not nearly as quick to about 80 as my acura or mercedes.

i'm wondering what type of 0-62 (62) times we are looking at w/just the chip upgrade. i see that the stock rated time is about 5.7-5.9 seconds. i am wondering how much the 100 pd ft of torque and the hp gain from the giac takes off that time.

My GIAC chipped 2000 A-box (with a few extra goodies) does 0-100km (0-62) in about 4.5 seconds. It hasn't been officially timed out at that distance - except for an unofficial stopwatch run last spring with a friend in the passenger's seat.
