so i finnally wanna get some sound outta my 01 s4 my downpipes are gutted and i have it chipped. I don't really have the funds right now for a full exhaust. My question is i've seen a lot of posts on youtube etc of s4's running open downpipes with no cats and no exhaust. yet no one explains how this is done. Can i simply take the cats off my downpipes and throw some exhaust hangers on the dps? I already have 02 cel eliminators from my piggie pipes but where would these go if i was catless? Or would it simply be easier to keep the cats on and just throw a turndown pipe on the ends and hang them up? Thanks
