Default Cold Air Intake?

I'm thinking about buying a cold air intake not only to add a few horsepowers but also to be able to hear my engine at low rpms. How big of a difference would a cold air intake affect these two things?

Where should I start looking for one and what type should I get?

Thanks.

Phil

First off there aren't many mods you can do to the intake that are going to make a big difference in horsepower. You can do the awe. sflo and do the darintake mod. or a K & N drop In. You wont gain that much Horsepower. You want horsepower add a chip you'll see 50-80 hp difference best mod u can do.

50-80 hp is a bit steep but you get the point.

Not really steep.... They did a chip test not that long ago and most were from anywhere from about 230whp-260... while doing about 190 baseline. i.e. 40-70hp gain.
