hey wats up guys i was wondering if any of ya knew if i take off my exhaust from the cats back will that hurt anything mechanically? and how would i go about making a staright pipe exhaust? also i want to take the cats off as well but does anyone have an o2 eliminator that i could possibly get or point me in the right direction? thanks guys

 

cutting the exhaust from the cats back will be dumps, that will increase power, but you will get pulled over all the time because they are LOUD! Not recommended, but for racing, yes.
straight pipes all the way back to the rear will increase power, btu it won't be as loud as the dump. You can go to a exhaust shop and get a 3" or dual 2.5" made for you for around $2-400. (from reading other posts). This won't be bad for the car.

You can put test pipes in to replace your cats, this will increase power even more, but if you are in a state that does inspections, you probably won't pass... as what will happen to me next January, lol Just pay someone off and you're good

 

betes... there is a guy in stl that will do piggies for like 125... also we can take out your resinators in my garage, and put up some pipe to give you a deeper tone... pm me and we can talk

 

I run no cats, mufflers or resonators. I got pulled over today for accelerating fast because the police officer heard me from around the block. Needless to say he didn't give me a ticket because he had little argument.

 

I'm sure he can hear those Harley's a lot better.... [:@]
