Im just looking for some advice on a friends car. He has an a6 with the our engine but his engine is misfiring. I ran vag com on it today and it seems to be only cylinders 2 and 3 the highest number of misfires cylinder 3 got to was 9 however cylinder 2 got past 70. It only seems to misfire at idle though not sure why. Also his bank 2 cat was running at 530c while bank 1 was at 290c. You can feel it in the idle it is definitely rough. Also when i connect the vag com it works well some times but it also will freeze and say too many communications errors. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated. Could this be his ecu?
