I am getting a S6 in about 2 years but was looking around now to see how much a 2 year old one goes for . Is it me or this a lot less than you would expect for an 08 with 12k miles .

Seems pretty cheap...I see no mention of a clear title though -- be wary of that.

However, keep in mind the resale on these cars can drop dramatically as they start to age. Crazy high maintenance costs has a tendency to bring the resale prices down significantly. Look at the 2003 RS6, you can pick them up for cheap. There is one on ebay right now with 18k miles (yah, 18,000) for $40k. Crazy considering MSRP was $85k-ish. I know it's been 7 years, but, these cars have been sitting around the $40k mark in price for several years now.

I called to check on a few things and it is already sold . I knew there was no way that price was going to last .
