well just cause the box may have been opened doesnt mean its not pristine.. maybe he wasjust like you and wanted to know what box it was nor does it mean it was modified... or maybe he was doing something where the ecu had to be disconnected.

 

maybe he upgraded the ecu? that'd be a nice little surprise...
