I took my car to gruppe s in hayward and had it dynoed on saturday... The ebgine is completely stock and on their Mustang Dyno which from what I understand us the stingiest dyno she dynoed out at 175.2AWHP I can harfley wait to modd and see my actual HP gains

would this happen to be a tip or 6spd?

 

chip hands down, RS4 turbos if u got the money. also for little more HP exhaust, intake maybe.

 

i thought they were more like 250 175 souds kind of low for a 5 0-60

 

Hmmm... Do you know what a dyno is?

Anyways, 175 is pretty good. The WRX's (not STi) with 227 crank dynos at about 162, so that's pretty close to the drivetrain loss of a WRX (about 29 ~ 30%). S4's have a smoother powerband with max torque available much lower and lasting a while longer... Makes a big difference in performance numbers.

 

175 is AT the wheels, not the crank.

They were 255, I believe, at the CRANK.

Dyno numbers are HP that reaches the wheels, after all the drive line loss.
