Default Engine Pull Help!

I had recently had my engine out to have the heads rebuilt due to a snapped toothed belt. The engine will be ready to go back in after a couple of days; my question is how do I prime the cooling system as well as the power steering system? I’m not sure it will work the same as priming the oil system and the dealership told me they use some sort of vacuum system to prime the cooling system. Is there a safe way to accomplish this or should I just fill it up as much as possible and fill as the reservoir drains or what? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ive read in a few places that people burp the cooling system by squeezing some of the hoses. I don't really know much more about it then that but its a place to start at least.

you can fill the coolant and let the car idle for about 15 minutes. shut the car off and pop the coolant cap and repeat until the coolant is out
