Default Extended Warranty

I recently bought an extended warranty on my car. Its been very helpful saving me $2700 in repairs but with the warranty i have, if i do any modifications, it says that it voids the whole thing. Was wondering if i would be able to get away with small mods or are there other warranties out there that allow mods to be done.

Thanks

Dave

That really depends on ur specific warranty. i know on the dealer warranties there are some modifications that u can make which usually wont affect the warranty, especially if the dealer doesnt find out about them. (a lot of dealers are very clueless.) i.e. when my dealer asked how i liked the power from my turbos? I have an 04 S4. So i decided to mindF*** him and open the hood. Then i said " you SOB you stole my turbos, so id like 2 brand new turbos under warranty please". U should probably just ask your warranty company what they will allow. Otherwise, dont take a chance on voiding the warranty.

yea well i talked to the warranty company and they said if i touch basically anything on the car it voids it. Im looking to chip and i think i would be able to get away with it but i need to upgrade my dv's and tbb so i dont no. dont think the dealership would even notice if i did it.

First off your 04 s4 has turbos i thought they only had the 4.2 liter and dropped turbos after 02 ?!?!?!?!?! Also if it is true what did they say.

that was the point of his story... lol, he wasn't supposed to have turbo's on his engine hence the "you SOB you stole my turbos" comment...

ATP has several turbo upgrades that they say are "stock looking".. anyone have one of these and still have the manufacturer's warranty? The second someone drives it they will know, but supposedly it looks stock. Has Audi service been ok with it in any instances ?

Thanks
