A couple months ago a new guy moved into my apartment with a 2000 santorin blue s4. Last night was the first time I ever really talked with him for more than 15min. I asked him if I could take a better look at his car. He likes his car but he is not a car nut. So I'm looking over his car...typical s4... leaking from the aux coolant pump and cam chain tensioner gaskets.... but in the truck in the cd changer compartment, something was wedged in there, looked like an hid ballast at first. Pulled it out... here it's a ecu labeled "orginal ecu with GIAC software". He had no clue it was in there or even what it was, I would of tried to buy it off him if it would of worked on my car..but his is tiptronic. So we slapped her in, huge differance like always going to a chipped s4. I wish I could find a free chipped ecu in my trunk

 

Don't we all wish there are performance parts in the trunk!

Now it's going to leak more, & he will have to dump money into it, then blame it all on the chip.

 

yeah i told him that too, I told him i'm not responsible for any more leaks, turbo damage or tickets he gets due to the chip.

That would be awesome finding k04's where your spare tire is suppose to be

 

there is one kid on audizine, he might be on here too...but anyways he has an s4 and he was going to do a turbo upgrade and when he went in to get some more mods done he found out he already had k04's and all he needed was the fueling.

 

i just looked back there and found the stock ecu...SCORE!
