Default Front Plate

In NY it is required to have your license plate on the front of your car. There is no way to mount it on the S4. What should I do, cuz I don't feel like paying a fine.

You can get a factory mount from your Audi dealer, you can see it in my avatar. I dont have my plates yet, still on the temp.

That's a requirement in MA too. I just had the plate put on today by my dealer. I watched him do it so here's how it works. The factory mounting bracket has a 3 inch protrusion at the bottom, this is meant to line up with a slot just under the top half of the bumper. This centers the bracket. Line this up and mark the 4 screw holes on the bumper. Now, take a 1 inch hole bit and carefully drill out each hole. If you lined it up right, the holes will line up with factory screw holes drilled into the bumper behind the outer cover. You might want to pull the cover piece off first just to get a look at what's behind it. Now, the only real trick is you have to cut off the little eyelettes on the back of the bracket. I don't know why they're there but the bracket won't sit flush unless they are removed. Now just line everything up and cinch it down. You'll probably have to shave the holes in the bumper a little bit to get the bracket to fit just right.

Good luck!
