Hi Guys! New to the forums...Just purchased a 2000 S4 6 speed with around 48,000 miles.
I have some money saved up and i'm thinking about getting some mods for the car.
I don't know a whole lot about cars but after reading the forums i have come up with a list of mods that i want for the S4.
Here they are:
GIAC/APR Chip
Upgraded Diverter Valve
Intake
downpipes
exhaust
boost guage
short shifter
F-Hose
Lightweight underdrive? pulleys
I was wondering approx how much Horsepower would have at crank with these mods.
Would i need to upgrade anything else, like clutch, internels, etc..?

I hope you meant "Upgraded Diverter Valves"!

You can expect somewhere around 350hp.

I'd definitely do the coolant sensor upgrade (OE replacement) and get a better TBB even if yours is still good. You could do a new clutch and flywheel, but it may not be necessary - at least until you need it to be replaced.

Doing my research I picked the APR chip although in a strait out race the GAIC X-chip is supposed to be faster. But the APR seems to slightly stress the turbo's less and as my car is a daily driver, I figured having the turbo's last longer might be a good thing.

I have fallen in love with that boost guage Hard Driver lol but i dunno if i have that much $ to invest in a boost guage....but we'll see
