How do you replace the fuel filter on a B5 S4? It is vertically positioned NOT horizontally positioned. So how do you get to the top of the one side? Its so tight under there you cant get a wrench on top of it.

Are you suppose to loosen the fuel tank or something?

I know its a "lifetime" filter but Im doing it for preventive maintenance.

Just curious how they torqued the banjo bolts with channel locks?

Some of the vertically mounted filter can be very difficult if at all possible at all without lowering tank some.
