I'm hopefully getting a 2001.5 s4 today but i'm not sure what to look for with these cars. It has 95k miles, 6 speed and i think bone stock. (owner doesn't know if it is chipped or not). Any help on what to look for? What to check for with the turbos?

boost leaks first and foremost. check for oil leaks and build up. has the timing belt been done? i hope you know what youre getting yourself into. these cars are amazing but you have to stay on top of them. they are not cheap to maintain either.

 

excess oil in the intake, intercooler pipping and on the belly pan are all signs of turbos goin" bad.
