Default GIAC ecu brings back misfire in #6, also correct DV's?

When I was driving my car hard for the first time after my GIAC install, I started to get a CEL flashing when I would take it into high RPM's(5-6K). WHen I slowed the light stopped blinking. Took it up a couple more times and this time the light stayed on. I think I felt it bog out as well, but didnt want to press on to find out. I threw this code about a month ago when I first got the car, and let it run out of gas on the way back from the dealer(idiot).I had that cleared and no problems til now. Then with in the first half hour of having the new ecu, it came back.Running 93 octane. Any hints? or thoughts? I have two new 710's, a sillicone TBB and F-hose, a cts, and AWE pressure tester on the way. On a seperate but related note can someone make sure I ordered thecorrect DV's. They were 45 a peice w freeshipping here:http://www.mjmautohaus.com/catalog/p...roducts_id=985.
Thank you

I wouls say boost leak, soo good luck on the fix as for the DV's those are the right ones. you made the right move with the tbb and f hose upgrade, also get a vagcom checker for codes helps save gas from autozone. have fun with the giac chip, pipes will open it up and give you the power you know you want

Thanks for the quick response readimag. I was thinking that too. I had a couple responses on AW that said coilpacks. Either way I have the pressure tester on the way so Ill check that., and maybe switch the packs. Do you think that a boost leak would make it bog out like and cause a misfire? Also should I put my stock ecu back in till I test the pressure?

If i'm reading right and you've got a misfire on #6 you might want to confirm that plug's gap as well (possible blowout under boost etc).

Good luck.
