Default Sending back GIAC chip

So I got my 93 oct giac chip around 2 years ago. I found out that I have the soldered in chip instead of the flashed. For a 100 I can resend my ecu back to AWE to get it flash-able, so I am able for updates. Does this sound right and is it worth it?
Thanks a lot!

If you plan on running the same tune, it's kind of a waste of time and money. If you plan on running different hardware or switching from a street tune to a very aggressive tune, then it's worth it. But otherwise, you're paying 100 bucks more for the same result.

Just the 93 octane street and 100 Octane race gas tunes. You'll have to call AWE to see what they recommend for you. If you step up with a K04, injectors, and a FMIC, I think you can run a Hammer file, which is a whole lotta fun.
