Is this a good deal...
Looking at getting an Audi S4. I talked a dealer down near me on a 2000 Black S4 With Navi and 80k miles to 14,000$...my question is whether or not this is a good deal or a fair price. What problems should i look out for and what should i make sure to ask the dealer about. I know nothing about these cars or these engines so please help are first timer out...thanks!!!!

RE: Is this a good deal...
make sure the timing belt was replaced, if it wasnt thats over a grand worth you'll be in for soon. Also at 80K the turbos might be starting to go if the car was driven hard. I assume if your byig it from the dealer the car was never chipped but id ask about that just incase, if you have to replace the turbos thats gonna be a big blow to the walet. These cars are fairly espensive interms of regular matinence, but if you cut corners on it, or the previous owner did, it will end up bitting you in the A$$ later.

is the price reasonable? I will ask about the timing belt for sure. With a decent amount of mileage and not a stick, i can assume it was not driven TOO bad but for sure you never know. Coming from a larger dealer, i will def ask about the chip. An extended warranty is worth the money in your opinion?

RE: Is this a good deal...
well id its an auto then its less likely to be driven hard so thats good news. Is the the car CPO? if so then the price doesnt sound too bad. You can expect to pay anything from 12-16ish for that kind milage and that year around me. The extended warrantry might be a good idea but make sure you read through it and find out exactly what it covers and the cost.

Price is not that bad for from a dealer, 80k mi might be on the high side.
