Default Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric

From what I can tell, these are great tires. Pricey though. It looks like they run about $250.00 for the 235/40R/18. I would like to stick with goodyear if possible because I already have a card. Any thoughts on these tires?

I had regular Eagle F1s a few years ago on a different car. They were great, but they didnt last. Chewed through them under normal driving in what felt like no time.

I currently have Michelin Pilot Sports... they're about the same amount per tire, but I think that they're fantastic. Just my 2 cents.

Having just come from the Jap Tuner side of the pond, I have been using Toyo T1s' and now Toyo T1Rs on everything from my highly modded boosted Type R to my highly modded GS430 with 20's, and found them to be excellent under all conditions especially rain(except snow!!!). If I were to fault them for anything, it would be perhaps a slight softness in the sidewall, but that is relative to other performance tires, and can be negated by slight increases in tire pressure. Given the choice between Pilot Sports and T1Rs it's a no brainer especially given the price difference... T1r. I have no basis of comparison to Goodyear. Always loved the tread pattern on the goodyears though. Now if you're one of those people who hold Toyo and Kuhmo in the same light, then perhaps blowing the extra doe on the Goodyear makes more sense.

im not familiar with them, but if you want a nice tire that will last a long time look into yokohama. they have some pretty good performance tires, and they have a good long life.

Couldn't go with the asymmetrics as they were $372.00 per tire. Went with the Eagle F1 All Seasons that will be put on tomorrow.

I'm on my fourth set of eagle f1's on my s4. they're the ones with the V tread pattern. i love these tires they work great everywhere but the snow. on snow you're just sliding uncontrollably constantly.

at 100mph+ in the rain you can actually get a rooster tail going.
