soo 2 weeks ago i took my car in for an inspection for the dreaded singing turbo and oil leak. not much to my surprise they both needed to be replaced and intercoolers chemically flushed and new oil cooler lines and all the bits in between. let me blow of some steam real quick, holy f*ck *****!! anyway thankfully i purchased an extended warranty when i bought the car back in november and they were able to cover 3000 dollars of the repair leaving me with 1600 dollars left over 4600 grand total, sooo thankfully, i saved a **** load of money, not so thankfully there goes my tax return and a the money i made off selling my old car which means no new wheels or exhaust or chip or anything else i could buy with that extra cash. good news i got brand new KO3 turbos(yes ko3's are the only ones covered under warranty so dont give me crap about not gettings ko4s). my car has been in the shop for 2 weeks and i've been bummin rides of off friends who i am very thankful for, i owe all yall a case of beer, and ridin the oh so stylish honda aero 50 around town when the weather calls for it. but i have my baby back. no worries about blown turbos for a long time(fingers crossed) this weekend shes gettin new egt's, O2's, headlight refinish with 6000k's, chrome ambers, and orange corner delete, and if i have time power steering flush, new coolant expansion tank and lower temp coolant sensor for the after run system.

 

PS- if anyone is wanting some used ko3's to rebuild im selling them for 200 shipped for the pair. i know its kind of much but they arent technically blown they just need new seals and such. i will also trade for a used catback, piggies, ecu, forge spillter, anything else you may want to trade

put both EGT sensors in today, what a freakin PITA tryin to get that driver side one out. the car runs at full boost now which never has been since i've owned the car so its a huge difference to me. also did a power steering flush. no more squeak when turning at low speeds. the car is finally comin back one project at a time
