i love the excellent gas mileage on this thing. i pulled 12mpg on this tank... all city, with ac blasting. normal right?

 

B5 or B6?

I average 21 MPG on each tank on my B5... If I drive it real hard throughout a tank, it dips to the teens (15 ~ 16 MPG per fillup)...

My 2004 Cobra used to get around 12 MPG tho!

 

Also, is it a B5 chipped?

I get about 18 mpg without air with half city half highway.

12 sounds right to me if you're driving it like you can!

i am getting about 12mpg... and there has to be something wrong. i called AoA and they said to take it in that it is not normal. i have been driving like an old lady and cannot get better mpg.

 

got my new car this weekend.
a replacement 2005 S4, 6mt.

doing my 'break in' driving, I've been getting about 12.2, but that's not normal driving, so hope to improve a bit when driving normal.

I'd say all city with AC, that 12mpg would be normal.

Stupid question, but are you using 91 + ???
