Kujo, first... congrats on the new car. i hope they didn't give you too much of a hard time about the swap.

you think 12 is possibly normal? all city with ac cranking???

and of course i am not using91... premium only sir.

my previous car was an e46 m3.. and beating the snot out of it, i yielded better mileage.

I'd say for 100% city driving with AC on 80% of the time, 12 is quite good.

i would average 14 in my old one.
I'd say it was 70% city, 30% freeway and 60% with AC..., so that's close.

I wouldn't worry about it.

If you were worried about mpg, this WASN'T the car to buy !!

I'm at 5000 miles....getting 15.7 combined...04 s4 6mt....80% highway driving...mostly with a/c...

lol dont feel to bad, on my 3400 stalled LS1 If i get 8-9 city im LUCKY!!!

hopefully getting an 01 m6 S4 this weekend or next though to replace it, so pretty much ANYTHING is better then the MPG im getting now...lol

thanks. i was just surprised cause i never took it over 4k rpm... usually under 3k even. and ac is on ALWAYS.

i knew this thing was bad on gas... just making sure i am not riding in something with an issue. thanks for the help Kujo. i hope i can return the favor one day.
