i have an 01 b5 s4 and i was wondering if the headlights automatically level themselves out or not because it seems like my headlights will only show about 20 feet in front of my car

 

Yes, if you have HID's. The sensors are on the lower control arms. There are little motors attached to the back on the headlight. You can remove the light & see if they are working. You can adjust them to far & unplug the adjuster, so it just hangs there.

 

so do you think that's what happened? cuz it seems like they are aimed right in front of me instead of down the road haha

 

i dont think mine automatically adjust cuz i just went out there and looked at em and i had to move two screws to make them go up and down... they don't adjust automatically then do they?
