So about two weeks ago i threw CEL p1370, and i believe thats Cyl. 6, ignition circuit Open Circuit. That lead me to believe it was a bad ignition coil. Well instead of buying a new coil and putting it in place, i switched cyl 6 and cyl 4 ignition coils to see if i threw a different code. After clearing the code and driving around for a little, i threw the same code p1370. I changed all the spark plugs since it was about time anyway, and again cleared the code. Once again p1370 came up.. any ideas?

should probably mention i drive a 2001.5 b5 audi s4 2.7t.
its currently bone stock for the most part, just bolt ons at the moment, still no tune =\

blue, if u hav an s4, plz join s4 forum, at least there people try to help

 

try swapping icms, and see if the misfire goes to another bank, cylinders 1,2 or 3.. and you could have a break or short in one of the wires going to the coil pack as well... get a test light and see if the coil is getting ground, juice and fire command..

and i agree, i used to be on this forum all the time, and now im on audizine regularly. much more tech support and turbo builds and everything.. just a bigger community altogether ..

 

did all that.
tried changin the ignition coil to all 6 cyl. so far... throwin codes p1370 and p0300 now.

i read all possible solutions to these codes and still wont fire right..
