i say do to this web site ecs tunning and get most of your parts there little cheaper then the dealership. yeah as for most of the electrical if it was jsut water no silt (that is the mud in the water) you might be ok when it dried out. but the silt will coat everything and and short it out. you need to do a ground up from removing the carpets and seats and cleaning them. http://www.popularmechanics.com/how_...e/1272386.html . That was just a quick search on google, not the best help but kind of helps. and also put it this way how much did you get the car for? and how much would it be worth if it worked at a dealership, some where in the middle is the number it will take to fix the car. i say take it to audi get them to tell you EVERYTHING that is wrong with it might be 200 dollar job might be more. but at least then you know what you have to do. but this is just my two cents. let me know if you need any more help.

I have NO CLUE what parts you will need. You need to vag-com it & get some codes. If you have communication errors, you might need a new unit, but it can also be a corroded connector, & that means you will need to do a continuity test on every lead till you find the fault. But getting a spare will not hurt anything but your wallet.

Yeah here's a hint Buy a new cheap *** set and see if it does the same thing. HID's aren't your problem right now, LIke what 2ks4 said you need to find someone in the area to help you with or you buy a Vag com and check the codes. As for having Downpipes your gonna throw CEL's anyway and you can fix that but that may not be the only problem with your sensors. Also, Did your black box get wet? If so, even the littleist amount of water and mildew, dust, dirt, etc can cause major failure with electronics. FYI I gotta say good luck but you might be better off getting rid of it or turning it into a parts car. Or Find a parts car and start ripping things apart and replacing shyt. ANyway Dude, good luck!!
