OK... as far as I know Shokan is the only place that has or can get them. I called for you and they don't have one now, but the guy said they might in the next few days. I left my number with the guy. He'll call me if he has one. If you want, you can call him and tell him that you are actually the guy looking for one. He said it would run somewhere around $750.

The number is 800 - 255-2834.

By the way: Make sure you realy need this unit before shelling out the big bucks for one. Check into all other possibilities first.

alright thanks alot man. later tonight when i talk to my uncle i wil make sure that this is what needs to be done because i know its alot too but if its what it needs than theres not to much i can do abou that. i was just wondering ecu's dont fry easily right, im wondering how the ecu was damaged. the accendent that this car was into was on a rear panel just dont undertand how it could ahve happened. any thanks for the info on shokan i can give them a call sometime soon and find out the info on the ecu. thanks againyou have been a big help hopefully i will have my car fixed sometime soon

hey i found someone with a used ecu, how much is a good price for a used ecu? he told me he would sell it but he never gave me a price so i have to tell him how much id pay for it, just dont know how much to ask for.

hey mabye you guys can help with this. the mechanic whos working on the car said the ecu needs replaced because i guess he changed some fueses and all they do is blow. soo..... jw if theres an alternate solution or if this sounds like something can be done oher than change he ecu contact me please. all help is appriciated thanks alot

it sounds to me like u have to change the ecu because thats ur central computing system, theres no getting around that problem. dont pay more than 350 to 400 for a used ECU id say but its up to u.

he wants 700 for it is this a good buy or should i try and bring the proce down some more? thanks alot

Nooooo!
Don't do it. You've got other issues to worry about. That ecu is a chipped ecu. BTW: 3 bar is huge!
Let's figure out what's wrong with the car before you start adding other things to it. If you add that ecu, you may have more or new problems to deal with. First things first.
