so lets see, i got two guys that told me that was my problem (no kidding) and a guy who is trying to take my thread away. WTF!? where is the help at... laughing to self... anyway where can i get one of these new "check valve" deals... and whats with the clamps on the hoses, can they be reused or what? thanks and no hard feelings btw :P

dealer part im sure and yes you can use the clamps again but I would fit new screw type clamps ( much easier to work with )

I don't mean any disrespect avant80 but you can not use those clips again because you have to destroy them to take them off, but I would go to the screw type clamps, just dont over tighten them you can break the new plastic part. and trust me that sucks the big one

no problem davidgotanaudi but what you mean is you dont know how to reuse them( if you cant cheat you cant do the job ) that's one of my fathers old sayings, the trick is releasing the clamp and a screwdriver does that then you need to re-clamp it and pliers do that

What are your Mass air flow g/s? should be between 3-4 g/s at idle. bad mass airflow sensor usualy throws lean codes.
do you have Vag com or something to check that with?
