That rear light is not out or not wrong. Many german cars mainly the audis have an extra light above the rear brake light. It is there for hazardous conditions to help you be better seen. I thought the same thing when I first got mine and searched and found that its there for saftey. I bet when you put a bulb in that slot the light wouldnt fit back in correctly unless you drilled a hole for it. There should be a button that you can turn those lights on and off when you want too.

 

I beleive he already knows that SHAYs4. His was likemine, there was a slot for the bulb to go into, but there wasnt a slot of the bulb to actually go into the tail light. He had to drill out the slot on the actual tail light.

 

Wow, it would really suck if I had to pull the engine for EXHAUST!!! I can tell it's going to be a LOT harder to work on this car than my Supra haha.. But I guess that's what you get with a finely tuned and engineered German automobile .

I definitely don't have the tools to pull the engine.. If I did, I would.. But since I don't, how many hours of labor does it take to pull the engine?? I would probably have someone do it for me..

 

anything else about the o2 sensors and the piggy pipes? reuse the ones there or order some different ones? or just wait till i get my chip?

 

congrats on the new car, you can use the old o2 sensor you jsut have to make sure the wire from teh plug to the sensor is long enough. It should be cause when i was looking at mine to do the samething. it was all tucked up there on a clip jsut zip tie it to keep it in place. oh and make sure you put the large plastic peices back on that you dont know is there till you look, lol.

yeah you really dont see as many till you really get the car. jsut be sure then take your car in for service you check it out after you get homelike i just did. So i took off the lorge engine cover and found they had put the DV on upside down, WTF who does that. i guess they wanted it too look like the other side. wondering why my WOT was feeling kind of fishy, stupid dealership and it was a audi one at that. upon further looking at them i see they have given me 710n's so guess i will take the free upgrade.
