how do I eliminate Air bag light as car has race seats.
Friends S4 has had race seats for years and the whole time has had Air bag light on the dash.
Can someone point me in the right direction to eliminate the seat codes.
I do want to keep the front airbags so dont want to pull a fuse.
Some type of instructions to fool the Ecu would be perfect.
Thanks

There is a pressure sensor in the seat. Basically a switch, so the wire under the seat needs to be closed, to let the system know there is someone in the seat.
ORIGINAL: slapper
Thanks,
But any ideas on which wire and how to do it?

I am not sure what wire it is. But if you look at the seat it should not be hard to find.
Did he reuse the buckles on the seats? Did they have a sensor on them?
I have not done this on an Audi, just BMW's one car we just put a paper clip in the wiring harness. Ghetto, but it works.
