I'm looking at B5 S4s and mainly all I find are ones with around 120,000 miles and sometimes higher... how long would the motor last ya think? I'm sure they'll last long like most BMWs because they are both German, but any input?? thanks!

 

do the maintainance and theyll last forever lol other stuff wll break like turbos and hoses but not the engine but um seriously though its an amazing engine but just like any other car it needs to be maintained

It's hard to tell, the most I have seen on one is 210,000. After all there only 6 years old.
The motor seams to be bullet proof. The real weak link is the Turbo's & electrical sensors.

From what I have seen & read, no one has blown on up yet from driving it or wearing it out.

My guess would be a 300,000mi engine if you take care of it. It's just as stout as the M20's & M30 BMW engines.

Motors are fine just mite need to do turbos, then again u mite not?

 

honestly just like every car it will run as long as you take care of it...but audi's are one maintenance full make of car...it requires alot but let me tell you it is worth every damn peenny to own these cars the ride in UNBELIEVABLE...
