how many miles do stock k03s last?
It depends on how you drive the car. I would suggest eliminating your catalytic converters or at least getting high flow cats since in my opinion that is what destroys the turbos on chipped cars.
Idk i think most people would agree.... 11ty billion miles is about accurate. give or take a million.
there is no, your turbo will blow up on 105k miles it just happens, wether it be 10kmiles or 250k miles.

I wasn't sure if there was like an average they usually last or not just trying to figure some stuff out before i make the final decision to get rid of my mustang gt that i have alot of money into to go this route because i'm totally in love with S4's just dont have a whole lot of money to throw into new turbos right away.
if i HAD to put a tag on them, i would say average is prolly.... meh.... 90-125k... Less if u beat on them and dont cool them down and who knows you might get awesome ones and you beat them to the rails and they are still going at 200k and chipped. Who knows...
My $0.02..... I owuldnt by it just yet. way more expensive to maintain than your mustang, If your not prepared to ocme up with $1,000 out of no where to replace something then u might be in trouble. My case is a prime example.... bought the car and was nickle and diming my self till i got whatever needed to be replaced fixed, then about 2 months ago i was gonna sell the car and move to a MR2 turbo, cheaper and more practical for a college student. But by the time i was gonna sell i needed to do timing belt, clutch, motor mounts and some small ball items. So instead of selling it i dropped roughly $4000 give or take on her from fixing everything and buying some coilovers and wheels... So hey it is possible but i willing to bet it will be about 3-4 times as expensive as your mustang to maintain.
But in return you get what you really want out of car.

they will fail at exacly 106k miles. designed that way.. jk.. theres no set time.. its a crap shoot. seen em fail before 40k..seen guys with close to 200k on them..
glad to see your branching off the mustang.

If you take the necessary steps to treat your car and its turbos good they will treat you good. Let them cool down and warm-up and don't constantly beat them, and if you chip the car go for high flow cats.
