Default how much should I pay for a 1994 S4?.....

found this in a local ad....

5-Speed Manual Trans w/QUATTRO All Wheel Drive
Power Steering, Brakes, Windows, Locks, & Sunroof

how much should I offer to him for it? any problems with this year S4? I know it has that little bit different 5 cyl turbo motor. Are those motors mod friendly?

I don't know much about the UrS4, except the engine have a reputation of being bombproof and capable of making some great horsepower. I personally would love to get one, unfortunately most of the examples I come acroos have high mileage which scarea me off a little.

I have and have had at least 3 of these cars, they are highly moddable. It is based on the 100/a6 C4 body, and they are good reliable cars. That doesn't mean they don't have their issues, but mostly small nagging things that are fairly easy to fix. If it is a well maintained car I think that is a pretty fair price. See what it needs for work, have it checked out by an audi shop. www.s-cars.org will tell you everything you need to know. Look at the buyers guide. I have loved my urS4's & urS6's
