Talking How's This for Incompetence??

Had my 2005 S4 Avant for a week now. Bought it through one of my biggest customers who is a Toyota dealer. I got a good deal. $1000:00 over cost as I'm classed as staff.

Last week i went to check the oil and the dipstick was missing. No big deal. $20 and they ordered it for me. So today i picked it up and dipped the oil. All was good. So for some strange reason i hunted down the workshop foreman who i know quite well as they had done an oil service on the car to place on the lot. Where i saw it about 1 hour later.......

I asked what oil they had used on the oil service. He said 5W 30. I said synthetic right.....NO WAY he said.....the cheap stuff. F#%K I said. Can you check for me? So he did in the service record. To my shock they had used the cheap stuff.......5W 20 FFS!!!!

So off to the Audi dealer for a filter i went and then to my friends Lube Shop for 9 Litres of the correct 5W 40 Synthetic and a filter change.

What AssH*#@s! Why would a very large auto group with an image cut corners like that? I would never buy another car form them.

I complained for sure but was told that as i got a staff deal there was no money in the deal to do anything! I only got one key too and the headlights had mist in them, (I fixed the lights as $591 each was a big bill).

I'm incensed. I keep their computer systems going. All 65 desktops and multiple servers. If i ran my business like them i'd be in court in a minute.

Gonna plant a month worth of virus in the network i think. Might even pay the car off!!! lol

that sucks major--really dumb on their part-
are you sure it takes 5W40 synthetic?? I just got a 2005 (early) S4 and am pretty sure the manual said 5W30 synthetic--not that its a big deal, as long as its synthetic-
I also have condensation in the right front headlight glass--have no idea where it is coming from--radiator hose clamps were loose, but that is fixed now and the condensation remains-

anyway, enjoy the car and good that you got things squared away
