Default Instrument cluster HELP!!!!

For some reason, my display is stating that the drivers door is open all the time and the display is fading all over. I need to know what needs to be changed the cluster, computer or both?

How do you know its not the door sensor? Fading clusters are pretty common. You can't just replace the screen either, you have ro replace the whole cluster....$$$$
