whats up guys, When I bought my 01 s4 it had a s***y intake on it. I was jst wondering if you guys would go with a stock intake and do the darintake mod or the awe intake. Just looking for some opinions.

2k s4 lived by the darintake and an itg panel filter and I agree. I will be doing that very soon.

stock airbox FTW
I hear in hot climates that the darintake isn't the best because it is just sucking up hot air. the stock airbox is a little cooler at those times. people do make caps for the darintake for the summers tho.

Thanks guys. My local shop has a stock air box assembly, they want $120 for it though does that sound decent or not?

Shop around on some classifieds. That x1 from vast looks pretty nice, but 475 is pricey, your could try making your own copy maybe, if not the darintake is a good choice.

I thought about building my own, we'll see. I am pretty bussy though so might just go with the x1.

Im probably going to go with the x-1 because i have a carbon fiber fettish. Eventually interior trim, engine covers, and maybe y-pipe.
