ok from what i hear the k03 and k04 are the same turbo with different internals, is this ture? if so were can i get a full rebuild kit like that or can you? thanks

 

no!!!!!!!! not true....k04s are bigger all the way around. side by side, very visible difference. Larger all the way around, larger inlets and outlets, bigger bearings, larger oil lines. they are just a bigger turbo, not upgraded, its totally different. while you can put k04 compressor wheel in a k03 turbo, you are going to destroy the bearings in the k03 way to fast, being a complete waste of money and time. simply put, you cant build a k04 from a k03 and expect it work.
