okay hp.. what do you think about purchasing k04 turbos and diverter valves off of ebay? just wondering..

also, your suggesting removing the precats.. now faster spool will not trip out the ecu.. will it? i know with my t6 s80 i removed the cats and ran straight pipe along with some extenders to fool the post cat sensors so no ses light.. now i got much faster spool obviously no back pressure but the me7 operating systems doesnt like the quick spool.. and is limiting my boost. i was getting 18 psi before i ran straight pipes and now ill only get 15... so im gonna have to get some cats to reinstall on the volvo.. im assuming audi ecu is not as picky as the volvo.. i just wanna make sure before i get into the same mess that i did with it...

also is there any problems with pcv systems? one valve cover leaked.. fixed it.. another valve cover started to leak. fixed it. still getting very small but still detectable burning oil smell from engine compartment.. its not near as bad. just wondering if i still need to wait a while to let the excess oil from the leaking gaskets burn off..

Im sure you can find the exact same diverter valves on and off ebay so thats all up to you. If your looking for a deal on turbos, you might want to check audizine.com and audiworld.com forums for BLOWN k04's which you can get rebuilt all for less than the price of new turbos.

Removing the precats will require reloacting the post cat o2 sensors with defoulers so you dont throw a CEL. Its a little work but well worth it, i think www.vastperformance.com sells the CEL eliminators if your looking.

Now bear with me through this next one, im not a professional on oil leaks. I stumbled across this: http://forums.audiworld.com/a6/threads/105233.phtml apparrently its a common problem on 2.7t cars and will cause you to blow seals. def check it out

well i remove the plastic intake and i cant find the unit. but i had the car running at idle and there was suction on one of the intake hoses as part of the pcv. i took the hose that goes to the y shaped intake off and it was suction, so im assuming that it is flowing and working properly.. is it right to assume that?

The main problem for running K04s or RS6's is the lack of the k04 WG actuators... if you can find a pair of those hold on to 'em.
