hey everyone, new to this forum, and hopefully a new Audi owner in the near future. My local dealer has a 2006 S4 tiptronic on their lot that I have become pretty fond of. The car has been Audi certified.

I am curious if there is anything I should be looking for on these cars that may have been issues prior to purchasing.

well besides the fact that its not near as fun as a B5 stage 3.. no.. go for it.. or join the ultimate bliss of a stage 3 wonder beast....;->

 

Ah, don't listen to those B5 weenies. Them and their big turbos and all that horsepower. Who needs it.

I have a B7 and love it. No issues so far (50K+) except the ECM power relay went out (covered by warranty). Overall it's a very solid car. Throw some pipes on it and a rear sway and you'll be a happy camper.

Oh, but be prepared to spend a lot on gas. My avg mpg is around 17 and that's with a fair amount of freeway commuting.

 

I heart V10's.

Hopefully they don't have the same fueling issues as the Lambo's.
