As you could probally tell from my sig, i drive a B5A4 but i was wondering if i could get some help from all of my Audi cousins over here in the S4 Forum. I reacently got into a small accident taking out some bushes in my A4 (taking a turn a bit to fast in the fog)and basicly need a new front bumper.I want to 'upgrade' now because i have the needfor a new bumper anyway and i am considering an B5 S4 bumper.

Ive run into a personal delema in the fact that i dont want to 'pose' as an S4 in any way. But all the other bumpers that i have looked at either are way too expensive, are too low for where im driving or dont fit my tastes.

I have seen some S4 bumpers online that show the owner had removed some of the slats in the lower grill. When you look at the modified bumper it looks more like 'three mouths' like an RS4, instead of a 'row of teeth' like the stock S4 bumper. Im just wondering if you guys have herd of or seen and S4 bumpers modified like this. And if so any pics or DIY's would be a great help.

Yes, I have seen it done. I think it'll take some work. You were probably looking at Rieger bumpers with the rs4 look. None of the A4 guys have done this inThis forum? Have you looked over at audizine or audiworld?
Yow know mustangs andHonda's will want to race you more now that you could have an S4 bumper, lol just warning! haha

 

2KS4 is one of the ones for sure who have done it look at his sig. it shows the mod also do a search you can probably find how to do it.

This was EXACTLY what i was looking for and as a matter of fact 2k S4's car was the one i had seen and wanted to replicate.
