Default Me, Myself and my NEW 2004 S4

I recently purchased a used 2004 Audi S4 in Silver

Its automatic with an AFTERMARKET exhaust system. Its the Milltek exhaust system with downpipes. This baby sounds like a complete beast. AND I love IT!

It also came tinted. It has 76,XXX miles on it, I got a great deal.

I just would like to know what some good mods are for this vehicle. What intakes are good? I am going to buy rims and new tires very soon.

WHAT PERFORMANCE PARTS!? HELP ME!!

there's not a whole lot you can do to the 4.2 motors. albeit they are brilliant engines, i would say if you want the most power, get some headers, a decent intake (not too familiar with the variety of 4.2 intakes) and dynoed for the most power. you can get a chip... but i've always thought they were bullshit for this car, not enough power for what you pay. a custom dyno tune will give you noticable power after the supporting mods are done.

handling wise, a rear sway bar to get rid of the understeer

All the info used to be correct for the 4.2 but the game has completely changed.

I Have the headers on my car and its a LARGE amount of Tq difference.

Check out JHM they make the most performance parts out there for the B6/7 S4

I think its Jhmotorsports.com

Where did you buy your headers? I didn't see any on JHMotorsports.com...

There is some disagreement about this but I suggest a rear sway only. If you get both front and rear, the understeer issue will not improve much. Also, I've heard the 4:1 differential helps handling quite a bit.
